My country falls under the section "during a flood" the most important thing for you to know is to move fast. move fast because you'll never truly know when the waters will rise and become dangerous. you have to stay informed because the conditions of the weather and water can and will be changing constantly. always make sure you are moving towards higher grounds. listen and obey evacuation orders, don't try and stay and wait for the water to calm down because sometimes they will get worse before they get better.

just like any other county the united states has its ugly weather because flooding. its something that will most likely happen. all states have the risks of flooding but some states have the risk even higher. Floridian, losianana, and florida have the highest flooding percentages. the thing all these states have in common are the risks are high.

Earthquakes

  When most people think of earthquakes here in the United States, the first state that pops in their heads is California and for a good reason. California has a whole fault that runs through the whole state. Starting at the border of Oregon and ending all the way at the border of Mexico. The famous San Andreas Fault that runs through the whole state, and historic events show that big quakes can cause major damage to the state. But California isn’t the only state at risk. Believe it or not, Alaska gets the strongest earthquakes, the Pacific Northwest faces danger from the Cascadia Subduction Zone. Even the central United States should be worried because they have the New Madrid Seismic Zone. Volcanos

 In the United States any natural disaster can happen…like volcanos. The states in the united states that have the most active volcanos are; Alaska, Hawaii, and the Pacific Northwest. Other states like Washington, Wyoming, California and Oregon also have volcanos but aren’t as active as the other states. Washington has two volcanos; mount st. Helene’s and mount rainier. Wyoming has Yellowstone. Oregon has mount hood. There’s are currently 169 active volcanos in the United States. The USGS has various ways to inform and manage volcanos. The two part system alerts communications about a volcanos status to the aviation company and to the public. The two part alert systems has 4 different alert levels, depending on the ground based hazards.
